Tobiano Motion Ball
Our Zoetrope Basketballs (Motion Ball) are specially designed to be captured in motion. Inspired by Myles' trips on the Q train in NYC the ball spins in motion playin an animation once recorded.
Our Motion Ball in Tobiano is built for hoopers who play with style. The running horses artwork wraps every panel in orange over a white and brown print inspired by the Pinto Horse. When filming the ball, spin it on your finger and the trio breaks into a full gallop, a similar trick that help create the first motion picture move in 1878, but with a bit more flare. Stop it and they freeze mid-stride.
Ball Care
- High performance moisture-absorbing PU leather construction
- Printed and debossed artwork and details on all panels
- Wipe clean with a damp cloth, no solvents
- Keep out of prolonged direct sun and moisture, store indoors at room temperature
- Inflate to 7 to 9 PSI, do not overinflate
How It Works
• With the ball in a vertical position spin the ball on your finger.
• Once the ball is in motion film the ball spinning at 30fps or less. Lower frame rates can help create a smoother animation.
• Spinning the ball smoothly with the animation aligned will help achive the desired effect.
*Please not that you will not see an animation on the ball with a naked eye.
